Environmental Management Policy

금문산업은 환경경영의 중요성을 인식하고 친환경제품의 설계 및 생산활동에서의 환경오염을 최소화하여 폐기물 감소, 자원 절약을 통하여 지속 가능한 발전과 기업의 사회적 책임을 다하기 위해 노력합니다. 또한 임직원의 자발적인 실천과 동참을 통해 환경경영 목표와 계획을 수립하고 지속적인 개선을 도모하여 친환경 경영활동을 이행하기 위해 노력합니다.

Gummoon Industry recognizes the importance of environmental management and is committed to minimizing environmental pollution in the design and production of eco-friendly products. Through waste reduction and resource conservation, we aim to achieve sustainable development and fulfill our corporate social responsibility. We also strive to establish environmental goals and plans through voluntary participation by our executives and employees, and to implement eco-friendly management activities through continuous improvement.

All business sites and employees of Gummoon Industry are responsible for understanding and complying with this environmental policy. We also respectfully request that all key stakeholders in our supply chain, including customers, partners, and affiliates, comply with our environmental management policy.

[환경경영 정책 원칙] (Principles of Environmental Management Policy)

환경을 기업의 핵심 성공요소로 인식하고 ISO14001을 기반으로 하는 환경경영시스템을 정착하고 이행하며 관련 법률을 준수한다.

We recognize the environment as a core element of corporate success and establish and implement an environmental management system based on ISO 14001 while complying with relevant laws and regulations.

기후변화 대응을 위하여 이행 가능한 환경목표를 수립하고, 목표달성을 위해 노력한다.

We set achievable environmental objectives to address climate change and strive to meet these goals.

제품의 생산 단계부터 제품의 폐기 단계까지의 전 과정에서 환경에 미치는 잠재적인 환경영향을 파악하고 이를 개선하기 위해 노력한다.

We identify and improve potential environmental impacts throughout the entire product life cycle—from production to disposal.

자원과 에너지를 효율적으로 이용하며 온실가스 배출량을 저감하기 위해 노력한다.

We aim to use resources and energy efficiently and reduce greenhouse gas emissions.

제품생산활동으로 인하여 발생하는 대기오염물질, 수질오염물질, 폐기물 등의 배출량을 저감하여 주변자연환경에 미치는 영향을 최소화한다.

We work to reduce emissions of air and water pollutants and waste generated from our production activities to minimize environmental impact.

[세부 정책] (Detailed Policy Areas)

1. 에너지 사용 (Energy Use)

제품 생산설비를 개선하고 고효율 장비를 도입하여 에너지 사용을 저감한다.

We reduce energy consumption by upgrading production equipment and introducing high-efficiency facilities.

2. 탄소중립 및 탈탄소화 (Carbon Neutrality & Decarbonization)

회사는 탈탄소화를 위한 중장기 전략을 수립하고, 에너지 전환 및 공정 개선을 통해 탄소배출 저감활동을 추진합니다. 탄소중립 달성을 위해 재생에너지 활용 확대, 친환경 연료 전환, 에너지 효율 향상 등을 적극 실천합니다.

The company establishes mid- to long-term strategies for decarbonization and promotes carbon reduction through energy transition and process improvement. To achieve carbon neutrality, we actively expand the use of renewable energy, switch to eco-friendly fuels, and improve energy efficiency.

3. 온실가스 배출량 (Greenhouse Gas Emissions)

기후변화에 적극적으로 대응하고 사업장 내 직·간접배출량을 감축하여 탄소중립 목표달성을 위해 노력한다.

We actively respond to climate change and reduce both direct and indirect emissions within our facilities to achieve carbon neutrality.

4. 물 사용 및 수자원관리 (Water Use and Resource Management)

생산설비의 공정개선 및 용수 관리와 재활용을 통해 사업장의 폐수 발생을 저감하기 위해 노력한다.

We improve production processes and manage water use and recycling to reduce wastewater discharge at our sites.

5. 대기오염물질 관리 (Air Pollutant Management)

지속적인 대기오염물질 배출시설, 방지시설을 점검 및 관리를 통해 법적 기준치 이하로 관리하여 주변 자연환경에 미치는 영향을 최소화하고 임직원의 안전과 건강을 보호하는데 노력한다.

We regularly inspect and manage air pollution sources and prevention facilities to ensure emissions remain below legal standards, thereby minimizing environmental impact and protecting the health and safety of our employees.

6. 소음배출 관리 (Noise Emissions Management)

사업장 내에서 발생하는 기계 및 설비의 소음 배출을 정기적으로 모니터링하고, 방음시설 및 저소음 장비 도입을 통해 근로자의 작업환경을 개선하고 지역사회의 피해를 최소화하기 위해 노력한다.

We regularly monitor noise emissions from machinery and equipment within the workplaces, and strive to improve the working environment for employees and minimize the impact on local communities by installing soundproofing facilities and adopting low-noise equipment.

7. 원부자재 관리 (Raw Material Management)

제품의 생산에 투입되는 모든 원부자재를 생산 공정 개선을 통해 효율적으로 사용함으로써 불필요한 자원낭비를 최소화하기 위해 노력한다.

We strive to minimize unnecessary resource consumption by using all raw materials efficiently through production process improvements.

생물다양성을 보존하고 환경오염을 최소화할 수 있도록 노력한다.

8. 폐기물 및 재활용 (Waste and Recycling)

회사는 폐기물 발생을 근본적으로 줄이기 위해 제품 생산활동에서 발생하는 폐기물을 줄이고, 폐기물의 재활용을 활성화하며 폐기물을 적법하게 처리하도록 관리한다. 적정한 분리 및 처리를 통해 환경영향을 최소화 한다.

To fundamentally reduce waste generation, the company work to reduce waste generated during production, promote recycling, and ensure that all waste is disposed of in a legal and controlled manner. We ensure segregation and treatment to minimize environmental impact.

9. 화학물질 관리 (Chemical Substance Management)

생산활동에 사용되는 모든 제품에 함유된 화학물질의 현황을 파악하여 입고, 저장 및 보관, 사용, 폐기 등 화학물질을 안전하게 취급할 수 있도록 필요한 정보, 교육, 안전보호구 등을 제공하여 화학사고예방을 위해 노력한다.

We identify the status of all chemical substances used in production and provide necessary information, training, and safety equipment to ensure the safe handling of chemicals from receipt and storage to use and disposal, preventing chemical accidents.

10. 지역오염 방지 (Local Pollution Prevention)

사업장 내에서 발생하는 환경오염물질의 배출량을 저감하여 임직원 및 지역주민에게 안전하고 쾌적한 환경을 제공하기 위해 노력한다.

We strive to reduce emissions of environmental pollutants from our facilities and provide a safe and pleasant environment for both our employees and local residents.
